Terms and Conditions

Before booking, please read the following:
Regretfully we do not take children under the age of 12.

Deposit

For advanced bookings a deposit of 50% of the total cost will secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid on arrival, by cash or card (for which a charge may be added).
Please note:  Refunds (less admin costs) will only be given if we are notified a minimum of 7 days in advance and only if we can re-let the beds.

Group Bookings Only (6 persons or more):

A Non-Refundable 30% deposit is required with the booking. The balance is payable 14 days prior to arrival. No refund will be given for bed cancellations after this date.

All Online Bookings will be confirmed within 24 hrs.

Important Hostel Rules

• Check In time is between 14:00 hrs and 21:00 hrs*
• A formal ID will be required at Check In.
• Check Out time on day of departure is 10:00 hrs
• *Late arrivals, please contact us to make arrangements.
• The Scottish “No Smoking” policy applies throughout the hostel.
• Please tidy up after yourself and leave Kitchen and Wash Rooms in a clean condition.
• Breakages and damages (other than minor) must be paid for in full. If we have card details for you, this will be taken automatically.
• We operate a “No Curfew” policy, but we do require that you respect the fact, that other people staying during your visit may need their rest.
• For everyone’s comfort we therefore must ask that guests are quiet between 23.00 hrs and 07.00 hrs. We reserve the right to ask anyone causing a problem to leave immediately and no refund will be given.
• Non-Paying guests are for security reasons not allowed access to hostel at any time.
