To
the North of Portree lies the stunningly beautiful Trotternish peninsula
with its amazing rock structures. If you have access to a car, don't miss
the Old Man of Storr and Lealt Falls. You should also see the Kilt Rock,
find a few fossils, climb the gentle hill to The Quiraing and work your
way round to Uig where the ferry departs to the Outer Hebrides, namely
Uist and Harris. Look for the Fairy Glen near Uig.
